“Fridays for Research” power synergy within EULiST
How we create a space where hundreds of researchers, staff, and students can meet, exchange ideas, and turn individual expertise into impactful projects.
Read impact storyExplore how research mobility within EULiST connects PhD students and universities across Europe, fostering joint projects in AI, radar signal processing, and cybersecurity.
Research mobility is a fundamental pillar of our ambition to strengthen collaboration across the alliance and create valuable opportunities for early career researchers to learn from one another. A six-month exchange between Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT) in France and Jönköping University (JU) in Sweden highlights how shared research interests can develop into meaningful international cooperation.
As part of this exchange, PhD student Guillaume Pouget from IMT joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at JU’s School of Engineering. Together, the international team collaborated on cutting-edge research in:
Our schools have similar projects and expertise, which we can share through EULiST.
The initiative originated from discussions between researchers who identified overlapping academic interests. Through the EULiST network, these initial connections evolved into a structured mobility opportunity that enables researchers to exchange knowledge, explore new perspectives, and strengthen ties between partner institutions.
Within the alliance, these activities are coordinated through the EULiST Early Career Center , which aims to support PhD candidates and early career researchers in connecting across institutions, participating in joint research networks, and gaining valuable international experience.
